Penmanship Contest |

Work with the curriculum director to create and distribute flyers, coordinate with judges and teachers, preparing certificates and awards. Ability to read Chinese characters is required. |
Read Aloud Contest |

Assist the curriculum director to coordinate and carry out the contest. Ability to understand spoken Cantonese/Mandarin is required. |
Chinese New Year Celebration |

Work with PTA director to plan and coordinate the activities for the whole school to celebrate Chinese New Year during one Friday class time. |
Room Parents |
Sept - May |
Room Parents serve as class leaders for one school year, acting as liaisons between teachers, parents, and the School Board while organizing events, communications, and classroom support. Together, they manage class activities, volunteers, finances, and records to ensure smooth coordination and engagement throughout the school year, and are excused from other general parent service duties. |
Yearbook Editors |

The Yearbook Editor is responsible for creating the entire school yearbook, from planning to completion. This role involves collecting and organizing information from teachers, students, photographers, and activity organizers, as well as designing and compiling content into a cohesive publication. The position spans February through April and requires a minimum commitment of 40 hours. Yearbook Editors are excused from other general parent service and traffic duty requirements. |
