PTA Newsletter 10/9/2018

Dear Parents,

This is the first of many newsletters from the PTA to keep you informed of the events coming up at WVCLS. Another way to keep yourself informed about the school is our website: https://www.wvcls.org 

By now, the class representative should have contacted you for a donation to the class fund. This fund will be used for various activities throughout the year such as classroom parties, gifts to the teacher (and TA), and gifts to students.

Also this Friday will be the first Class Observation survey. This survey is an opportunity for you to improve how your child learns Chinese and give feedback on the teacher, classroom, and the school. To participate, attend your child's class between 7:00pm to 7:30pm and observe the teacher and classroom for at least 15 minutes. Then provide your feedback on the survey form. 

The form is available from:
- the school's hallway. Take a form before going into the classroom and return the form to the school office (in Homestead's Student Center).
- online form (pdf). Printout and bring the form to the classroom and return the form to the school office (in Homestead's Student Center).
- online form. Fill out and submit the form directly online.

There will be another opportunity on November 9 and December 14.
