Despite the 102°F heat, our first day of school went by very fast. There were many young new faces joining our school, and many young familiar faces who had grown so much in a short 3 months time.
First day of school was always chaotic, and yesterday was no different, but even more so. Besides the many new students in various grades, we were overwhelmed by the many new students joining the CK kindergarten class. The classroom was completely packed and the school board decided to open a CK-B class right away before the end of the day. This will relieve the pressure on the teacher, reduce class size, and give all our youngsters a better educational experience.
Here are couple pictures from our Board member Ken Law, who captured the busy moments in that clamorous first hour.
