The ANCCS 2019 Academic Contest held this past Sunday was fully concluded. This year, our students competed in Cantonese Speech, LongDu, Pecil Calligraphy, and CFL-CSL LongDu. As always, our students gave great performances and took home some prizes! The ANCCS 2018 Academic Contest held this past Sunday was fully concluded. What a great competition! All of our students gave their best and performed brilliantly. They should be proud of themselves! We would like to congratulate all the winning students, and thank all students who participated in this event. Most importantly, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our teachers for their coaching efforts and parents for giving their support and dedication. 2018年北加州中文學校聯合會學術比賽圓滿結束。 西谷學校的參賽同學們均有出色的表現。他們應為自己感到驕傲！ 恭喜所有獲獎同學，也謝謝所有參加同學。 我們亦感激老師的悉心指導和家長們的支持和奉獻。    The Annual Association of Northern California Chinese Schools (ANCCS) 2018 Academic Contest will be held on Sunday, March 25 at Leland High School in San Jose. 11 students from WVCLS will be competing in the Read-Aloud, Speech, and Penmanship contests.
Best of luck to our students! Furthermore, our student, Monica Tam, was awarded 1st place (High School Group) in the ANCCS 2018 Chinese New Year Poster Contest. Congratulations! Our school would like to encourage all interested students to participate and apply early. Please note that the registration deadline this year is 2/12/2018. The lunar new year theme and the hands-on activity are a good way to carry

All our students are well prepared after rehearsing many times in past weeks. In this special day, they dressed up very nicely in tuxedo, ties, and colorful blouses, ready for the fiercest competition. Over 100 Chinese schools in the bay area participated in the annual ANCCS Academic Competitions. Besides the usual Cantonese LongDu, we also competed in Pencil Calligraphy. 北加州中文學校聯合會2016-2017學術比賽結果:
