2019 ANCCS Academic Contest

The ANCCS 2019 Academic Contest held this past Sunday was fully concluded. This year, our students competed in Cantonese Speech, LongDu, Pecil Calligraphy, and CFL-CSL LongDu.
As always, our students gave great performances and took home some prizes!
Congratulations!

2019年北加州中文學校聯合會學術比賽圓滿結束。今年，西谷學校的同學們參加了粵語演講、粵語朗讀、鉛筆書法、和CFL-CSL朗讀。一如以往，同學們出色的表現令他們奪得不少獎項！

ANCCS Chinese New Year Poster Contest

[2/13/2019] The Association of Northern California Chinese Schools (ANCCS) sponsored this year's Chinese New Year Poster Contest to celebrate the Year of the Pig in January 2019. Several of our students participated, and one of them brought home an award! Congratulations to Joyce Cheung (C5) who won third place in the Junior High School group. Her artwork will be featured in this year's yearbook. Check out the photos (credit to parent volunteer Philip Wong) from the award ceremony here.

Chinese New Year Party

[2/5/2019] Happy Lunar New Year! WVCLS wishes everyone a prosperous and fruitful year with good health and lots of laughter!

To celebrate the Year of the Pig, our school will be hosting a school-wide Chinese New Year party this Friday at 7PM at the cafeteria. There will be a food contest, games for both kids and adults, and lots of prizes! Please check out the PTA Newsletter for details.

The WVCLS will be hosting a Christmas Party this Friday, 12/21/2018, at the Student Center. Raffle tickets will go on sale at 6:30 p.m. and drawing will begin at 9 p.m. Families may also take a picture with Santa and play with fun props! Come and enjoy the holiday spirit with us!
