WVCLS held the annual Penmanship Contest as usual despite the pandemic. Thanks to the Curriculum Directors and all parent volunteers, it was a success! We are proud of our students for their effort in carrying on one of the greatest Chinese traditions.

Textbook distribution is this Saturday, August 22nd from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Please refer to the email from our Registrar for the exact location.

To protect both your family and our staff, we will use a zero touch approach, please follow the following instruction during pick up.
Our staff is allowed to distribute the textbook to those who completed the registration only. If you have not completed the registration yet, please email us before pick up.
Due to COVID-19 and the shelter-in-place order, WVCLS has decided to implement distance learning for the fall semester.
Our first day of class this year is on Friday, August 28, 2020. All of our teachers will deliver instruction online via Zoom. Parents will find class meeting information either via email from teachers or Google Classroom.
Textbooks and other school materials must be picked up prior to the first day of class. Please watch out for notices from the school board for specific instructions.
Our school will continue to accept enrollment applications. New and returning students can register online through September 11.
Early registration for the 2020-21 school year is now OPEN!
Families that register between April 24th and May 8th will be eligible for an early registration discount.
Registration can be done online for both returning and new students. While we are still accepting applications by mail, families are highly encouraged to register online.

Based on the information from the Santa Clara County Health Department, the Santa Clara County Office of Education, and Fremont Union High School District, WVCLS will be closed to students temporarily between March 13 and April 10. Our classes will move to online format during this time.
CK, CT1, C1: Instructional videos will be provided to support student learning at home
C2 through AP: Classes will be delivered online via web service. Students are expected to participate during the regular class time
Families should expect to receive further instructions from their class teachers as early as next Monday.

We have been informed by Homestead High School that their facilities are no longer available to after-school programs due to concerns over Coronavirus.
All WVCLS classes have been cancelled until further notice.
